Ashley Wady is a skin specialist with a career spanning education, clinical practice, pharmaceutical collaboration, and the creation of skincare brands.
Her work is defined by a commitment to skin health, formulation integrity, and education-led skincare — creating solutions that support real skin at every stage.
Education & Foundations
After completing her beauty qualifications in college, Ashley went on to train at Liverpool Hope University, where she gained a Diploma of Higher Education in Teaching in her early twenties.
This foundation in education would later become a defining part of her approach — shaping how she formulates skincare, communicates with professionals, and prioritises clear, responsible skin education over trends or hype.
Ashley’s career includes working alongside leading pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies, including GSK, L’Oréal, and Aestheticare.
This experience gave her invaluable insight into product development, safety, efficacy, and the realities of skincare at scale — informing a pragmatic, results-driven approach that continues to underpin her work today.
Industry Experience
Advanced Clinical Training
Alongside her industry career, Ashley progressed into the advanced skin and aesthetics sector, undertaking further education at the Centre for Medical Research and Science.
This training strengthened her clinical understanding of skin function, treatment protocols, and advanced aesthetic technologies — bridging hands-on experience with scientific knowledge.
Brand Creation
With experience spanning education, clinical practice, and large-scale product development, Ashley brought her skills together to create her own skincare brand.
She is the founder of BOSSFACE Cosmeceuticals, Bfx, and Funny Skin — brands built to address genuine gaps in the skincare landscape, from advanced cosmeceuticals to safe, age-appropriate skincare for tweens and teens.
Each brand reflects Ashley’s belief in formulation with purpose, barrier-first skin health, and education-led use.
Global innovation & leadership role
Ashley is also the UK Director of the world’s first-ever micro-needling treatment using no device.
Working closely with the founders and doctors at Hunan Sunshine Biotech, Ashley was exclusively appointed UK Director and Lead Master Trainer. In this role, she supports education, professional training, and the responsible introduction of advanced skin technologies to the UK market.
